transfer Magento on new server

Dear members,

i've tried to transfer the my site on new server following the standard steps. Concluded the transfer, i receive always "page not found". I've modified the DB and the configuration file correctly. Can you help me?

Please try  after replacing the existing .htaccess file and index.php file with the default one.
