Change layout of stacked items in category list

I have installed a pictogram extension and am having a super hard time figuring out how to change the layout on the category list page. The pictures are stacked on top of eachother, but I want them horizontal. I've tried everything I can in CSS but it's not working. I'm using the RWD theme in 1.9.2.4. Please help!
