Creating links for new products

Hi Magento Team,

I am quite new to magento and sorry if I am asking a silly question. I have created a static block and displaying a image on it. What I want to achieve is to enable a link on that image for new products or listing of all the products on availble on the store. 

How can I achieve this. If anyone can share a sample code to achieve this will be great.

Hi @pawannet

Go to Admin Panel >> CMS >> Widgets

Click on Add New Widget Instance button and create new product

Select Type "Catalog New Products List" and Design Package select your theme and continue

Click on "Add Layout Update" button and configure what you want to display as new products.

(i.e.)
Display On "Specified Page"
Page "CMS Home Page"
Block Reference "Main Content Area"
Template "New Products Grid Template"

Once you complete the process, click on save button clear cache and view front-end home page.
