Easy question to answer probably

So im trying to contemplate designing and development. The pattern im noticing is that:

You have the homepage from a demo I installed but thats it.

I need to "create" a second page (which is a store page) and so really you have the homepage and the store page as the two main pages and each product is a block? Does that sound right? Or is there a better way to think about all this?

What happens to you. I understand that you have a home page (featured information) and store page (products).

I have products and I heave a homepage, but i dont know how to make a store page for those products
