Slider Revolution

I have a question when it comes to third party plugin, i am new at magento CMS and have learn that most slider that you install are not visual interface supported, is there a reason why? or that is depends on the slider? i want to install slider revolution which seems to have a visual interface but not sure what are the step to do so, your help would be appreciated with a tutorial link
