Magento Staging Site

Hi,

I have Just created a staging site, however after changing the .htaccess /Local.xml/ checking and changing the database to the correct staging URL, and clearing clearing cache ... my site is still directing to the love site... and other configuration files i need to look at

@Ben_mac I've split your reply to an old topic into your own topic. 

Did you check if you have any redirect in place? 

Did you modify the core_config_data table in the staging site's MySQL database to change the Base URLs to the staging URL?
