Rebranding Away from M1 to MLite

Rebranding Away from M1 to MLite

I think it's a tough sell to get M2 to existing M1 clients.

My proposal would to rebrand M1 to MLite. That's basically what it is, a Lite version of M2 these days, which needs less resources to run than a M2 installation.

Otherwise I suspect there will be a large bubble pop and that will be it.

As footnote to this, since I can't edit the original post.

Even though these stats aren't going to be wholely accurate, but as a view point in through the window and the fact we're coming to the end of 2017.

A friendly reminder about the real EOL for M1: https://magento.com/blog/magento-news/ongoing-magento-1-support

(my 2 cents)
