Updating from 1.9.2.2 to 1.9.2.3
Hi
Have been trying for hours to upgrade our site to the latest version of 1.9.2.3 for the security patches via the connect manager but keep getting an error of Exception during cache and session cleaning Please check the output frame for errors and refresh the page to retry changes.
But after that I lose my site and get a 404 page error, has anyone experienced this problem, magento must be the worst ecommerce site for its upgrades as nothing is straight forward.
Thanks
Alan

Hi @aslater,
Can you provide the following info?
- php version installed
- Exception error detail, can be found on var/log/exception.log
Still stuck? Check out our documentation: http://magento.com/help/documentation

Re: Updating from 1.9.2.2 to 1.9.2.3
Also, 1.9.2.3 is already an old hat. There's new Magento in down (1.9.2.4) which by the way fixes couple of major problems caused by earlier patch level update (such as PHP 5.3 is supported yet again and uploaded image files are available for "others". Again.).
