When checking out with paypal advanced and using a credit card my magento store produces an error message on the front-end:
"Payment has been declined. Please try again."
On the backend an order is put in with status "canceled".
A payment is being processed within paypal.
Paypal customer support says everything fine on their end, no error message.
I am running 2.0.7
I have had a freelance magento developer check it out. His answer was that this is a magento issue and that reproduced the error in a new magento store.
I have reproduced the error myself in a virgin setup as well.
The checkout process was working though before. No idea as to what happened.
Any idea on how to resolve this?
Paypal has the debug option. Enable it from admin panel and check what it says on paypal error.log
