Create a Configurable Products with Color Options

Hi All,

now I use custom options for my products with a drop down menu' but I would like to add swatch colors instead of drop down menu.(I don't need inventary)

I need to know if there is a way to create swatch colors without adding a sku for each single options.

to be clear:

my products have 3 attributes (Option1,Option2,Option3) and for each Option I have 20  colors

this mean i'll have 20*20*20=8000 sku's for each product

at the moment I manage all product with csv and I'm afraid to manage all these products (my site as 1.000 products) will be difficult and will slow site response,

Hi, I don't think you can use the built-in swatch functionality for custom options. I would imagine it would require quite a bit of customisation to do so. I'd probably look for a third party extension to help you.

I'm afraid I don't have any experience with any of these extensions to be able to recommend though.
