Create invoices for the shipped orders

Hi Community

I have a question not related to coding but general configurations and setting from admin,

I have a case where client created the shipment directly without creating the invoice for some orders, now he want to create the invoices, but Magento don't allow us to create it for shipped orders, is there any workaround?

Magento already allows creating invoices after the shipment as well!

Yeah that seems working fine, But in my case it is throwing error.

908 - An error occurred while editing this transaction (incorrect parameters).
