This is the situation:
Example: On Day 1 - I have product with an option that is priced at $15.00 and I place an order. The order total is $50 for the product + $15.00 shipping = $65.00
On Day 2 - I decide to increase price on the option to $20.00
On Day 3 - Customer calls and asks to update shipping method on order placed on Day 1.
The new shipping method is $3.00 more. So order total should be $68.00
When I change only the shipping method - the product still changes price to add the $5.00 to the total, so new order total is now $73.00.
I know I can edit the pricing and put in a custom price to bring it back to the original price that the customer ordered - but I shouldn't have to do that on an order that is already in the system.
This also happens if I just want to edit the option to a different color (Ie change it from blue to red).
Shouldn't orders already placed maintain the price they were placed at?
