Customer password lifetime setting

Hi all,

 

I'm searching for a password lifetime setting where I can define the lifetime after which a customer is forced to update its password. All my search actions for this info end up with the options for admin passwords. For that setting there seems to be an option but for customer I cannot find any config setting.

Anyone knows if this can be set somewhere ?

Yes, you can set password lifetime using the cookie settings. For that please follow the steps below:

  • Login To the Magento Backend
  • Go to Store > General > Web
  • Scroll down and check  the "Default Cookie Settings"
  • Increase "Cookie Lifetime"
  • Click on the "Save Config" button
  • Flush the cache
