Destination Type Define Automatically Not Showing - UPS

Hi.

I am trying to get UPS rates based on a commercial or residential address but in the admin I only have two options for Destination Type - Commercial or Residential.  I have seen in some Magento Docs a third option of Define Automatically but I do not see it as an option.  How can I get the rates based on a commercial or residential shipping address?
