I have two Magento websites/stores on one installation. I can switch between store views in the Magento admin for configuration settings unique to each store. But there is almost nothing in the outgoing email configuration to link each store with a unique outgoing mail host. By default (without installing an extension to improve the SMTP feature) the mail goes to the local server, and then postfix would relay outbound SMTP via our Rackspace Email SMTP account. Each store needs to use its own domain name in the emails, but Magento would only allow us to use one domain for both stores? E.g. Company2 emails come from sales@company1.com. Magento doesn't distinguish outgoing email paths between stores? That is crazy.
