In most CMS systems i just set login, smtp host, port, password, and that's all. In Magento I can't see these settings and everything I saw was about some localhost configurations. I have access to root user over ssh on Debian system.
There were so many threads, including core modifications which is bad for composer update... why this have to be so hard? I am not allowed to set mailer with own parameters?
