Taking orders using Paypal Payflow on backend of Magento 2.2.7

I have been taking orders/ credit card payments over the phone in the back end of Magento 1 using Paypal but this option does not seem to show in Magento 2?

Is there a way to use Paypal Payflow in the backend of Magento 2? I dont really want to sign up for Braintree just to use this function?

Please follow below steps

1. Select Configure under Payflow Pro.
2. Select Basic Settings - PayPal Express Checkout to show more options.
3. Select Advanced Settings to show even more options.
4. Select the Payment Applicable From dropdown and choose "Specific Countries".
5. De-select all countries in the Countries Payment Applicable From select list.
6. Confirm there are no countries selected.
7. Select Save Config.
8. Clear cache.

By making the payment option unavailable in any country, the option will no longer appear during checkout. You can also choose to not show the payment option on the product and shopping cart page to remove the option altogether. https://www.screencast.com/t/Izl1cRAd

I think you have misunderstood what I want to acheive.

I want to take card payments using my paypal account as a merchant solution in the backend of Magento 2. We take orders over the phone and this option is very useful to have. We have it in Magento 1 but need it in Magento 2.
