Currently, we have an Ecommerce website built with ASP.Net on IIS for webservice and use MS-SQL and this Ecommerce site is only for one country and we use server hosting service to host this ecommerce.
However, with the business expansion into multinational companies I need to adopt Magento to service this website for multi-nationals with 3-4 global Datacenters.
Regarding this, I have the below questions.
1. Based on my study, I got to know that Magento uses Mysql. Is it easy to migrate from MS-SQL to Mysql?
2. How can I design Magento cloud ecommerce systems serving in multiple countries on multiple datacenters? Do I need to have Magento backend Ecommerce core+DB+all the necessary server side modules such as OMS, Cart, etc. installed on each data center for each country?
3. If the answer for No.2 is yes how can I use all the scattered DB for Big data analysis for CRM and personalized shopping mall?
4. For Amazon Big data (Amazon personalize), in my understanding I have to use Amazon S3 or mongo DB, which is different from MySql, but Magento uses Mysql. How can I deal with this?
5. Can I get a sample Magento cloud commerce system diagram of multinational companies?
