Multi Server Magento

Hi all, I am trying to setup magento on multiple servers.

I can confirm on both servers the hash of env.php and config.php are exactly the same hower im still getting the error:

The configuration file has changed. Run the "app:config:import" or the "setup:upgrade" command to synchronize the configuration.

I should add I am running in production mode and the two servers are mirrored via rsync.
