Using the data migration tool should it be run from M1 live production site or a clone of M1 DB.
I've done a dry run on a clone, but when it comes to getting the incremental changes (delta) I'm stuck. I presumed I could build out the M2 store and import the delta incremental changes. But I've learned the data migration tools create data on the M1 DB to mark the data changes. so my plan to reimport a new clone db to m1 clone and run delta will not work as these markers will be missing.
so i'm guessing it has to be run from the live M1production site if I want to use delta data import after I've installed new themes and extensions on M2 site at a later date to capture live changes since the first import of M1 data import.
