magento2-frontools without the sass blank theme?

In requirements it says that a Magento 2 project with a Sass based theme is needed. 

Can I use the frontools without the magento2-theme-blank-sass?

Can I use luma or normal blank as the parent theme instead?

Up from version 1.0 Frontools doesn't support LESS themes (Blank and Luma) anymore. You can you older versions (0.11.4), but they are not supported anymore and have fewer features.

AFAIK our SASS theme is the only one publicly available, but for sure any other SASS based theme (i.e. you custom) should work as well with Frontools.
