Can someone please recommend a free theme that actually works?

I install Magento2 just fine, but every time I try to install my theme, my site goes down and I'm quite sick of it. I've posted all over the internet looking for help, but assuming anyone even responds, it's telling me to try the same things I've stated I already tried. I give up. I've deleted everything and installed fresh. Are there any free themes out there that are easily installed and actually work? I feel like every theme I try is out of date in some way.
