Changing fields in Customer Grid

In the Admin section, I see where you can create a custom grid by just clicking on the Columns button and selecting the fields you want displayed. I also see where you can save different views of the Grid. Can you change the Default Customer Grid without changing any code?

Thats what I cannot figure out. It will not let me modefy the Default View of the Customer Grid.

for changing field name you have to override layout file customer_index_index.xml and customer_listing.xml this file . you can change here field name according you
