Create theme settings section in Magento 2 admin area

Hi all, 

 

I am working on a new template and was wondering if anyone could share the process to create Frontend theme settings section i.e. colour palette etc, in the M2 admin? I couldn't find this information on the magento design guide. 


Any help is highly appreciated.
