Why you are not using less css for that?

just use category class and edit less file

i could use less and create a seperate class for each catergory and pull it in that way but this used to be so easy with magento 1.9 everything seems so much more complicated in magento 2 and everytime i google an issue seems like i keep coming up with oh this is an issue with magento 2.2 we are working on a fix for that !!
