Favicon is not displaying

Since few days, a favicon is not displaying on our production site.  We have checked the source code and all is fine. It only displaying Magento's favicon. we have tried so many times to be uploaded but it failed.Please provide a solution for this.

please upload your favicon into your root directory with the name favicon.ico.

And do hard refresh the browser.

If still not working then,

Also, check page source of your site and check favicon path.

If you are able to provide me the URL of the site then I can give you exact path.

Did you check your favicon uploaded is display in your admin panel content -> Configuration -> Your Themes or not. If you have upload favicon icon is set in proper store view or not.
