Magento 2 Layered Navigation

I am facing the issue with the Magento 2 layered navigation. I am using the magento 2.0.7. The issue was filter are not displaying in the parent category pages, if a parent has any childrens and its working for child categories. If parent doesn't have any children then the layered navigation applied on the parent category page. Anyone can help me on this issue.
