Overriding templates Magento2

Hi Guys! I need your help!

I have installed Magento2 by using composer. I tried to accomplish all steps according to the manual to override core template, but nothing happened. 

I have created new theme with mandatory structures, but my template is not worked for some reason. 

Magento2/app/design/frontend/MageDD/Custom/Magento_Theme/Magento_Checkout/templates/cart/minicart.phtml

Please advise!

Just in case, try testing using the "Incognito mode". It has happened to me that the old templates were stored in the browser cache.
