Removing Carousel and replace it for a clickable picture

Hi all,

I am Dionne and recently we started with a Magento 2 webshop. Our webshop developers created a carousel on our homepage, which should be clickable but isn't. 

It is really important for us to make it clickable (so removing the caroussel and add a picture instead), but the webshop developers are not able to change it right now, only in 3 weeks...

Attached you can see our html code, the first two banners are the caroussel banner (which we would like to remove) and the last 3 small banners are a picture (which works! and we would like to replace the caroussel banner for a picture likes this which is clickable).

Can someone help me out?
