I'm trying to select an alternative page layout, but only for certain categories, so I'm dropping into the admin area, and in the design settings of the category I select the desired page layout (in this case as a test I am selecting 1 column, and the default is 2columns-left):
This doesn't change anything on the frontend of the site. The alternative settings are being ignored. Can anyone help me diagnose why this is the case and what I'm missing?
