Showing product options as thumbnails with qty boxes

I am converting an old ecommerce site into a magento 2 store. The client wants the product page pretty much the same. I have looked around and haven't found anything that seems to accomplish what I am after, can anyone point me in the right direction?

Grouped products shows the variants closely to how I need them, now I just have to get the thumbnails to show.
