Text AREA in customizable option in product page doesn't display properly on frontend

Hi all,

 

I'm have trouble to use the text area option in product page. the front end display text field all fine but when its text area , it become a weird dropdown with no info in and no text box appeared. looks like a bug but I'm not too sure. 
I'm using Magento ver. 2.1.5. 

 

Capture.JPG screen shot attached. If anyone could help that would be realllyy appreciated!!!

Looks like you have modified the default CSS or using any 3rd party theme.
