png image shows black background

How is it possible that a transparant png image shows a black background on site?

Normaly those images were transparant, but now suddenly they have black backgrounds.

What am I doing wrong?

Possibly the element below that image has that background color. Can you sahre a public URL to check?

the background turns out to be black, and there is no change that I know of
why it its black/
Is it an adjustment in the backend?
