404 while saving configurable product

I have added a configurable product with more than 40+ variations, while saving it redirects to 404 error page. When we reload the product page on backend Configurable product is missing, all the variable products were added. i have increased the memory limits, but I cant able to solve this issue. 

How can I solve this?

Change mode to developer and then do the same process, if you still not able to get the error, check log files, there must be something, if still no luck, check with your hosting provider to check server configuration.
