I have thousands of products in the store that have item codes similar to these examples:
ZF100
CD23456
IF34567
However, I have thousands of new products to add to add to the store that are essentially the same products with a variation so the product code has either an added 1 letter 'Z' at the start of it or and an added 2 letters 'DZ' or 'EZ' at the end but will use exactly the same image as the previous codes.
ZZF100
CD23456DZ
IF34567EZ
In order to prevent having to copy and rename thousands of images from the image library to associate with the new products, is it possible to build in a logic statement somewhere that will say something like "If the product has an extra Z at the start or a DZ or EZ at the end, use the image for the current product code minus those letters, to give the product code for the original image.
