Admin Order Payment Request

We are looking for an option where we can generate an order in the admin with a status of pending payment. We would then need to be able to send out an email link where the customer can pay for the order with their credit/debit card. We are currently using Braintree for payments. Does anyone know of any anything that exists alread? I can't seem to find anything.

I've looked at this and is does lots of things but not quite right. We would need it to reduce the products stock.

Basically we would need to create an order in the admin area and then send an email to the customer asking them to pay for that order.

Old thread but the Magento 2 Stripe module does this with Stripe invoicing if you are still looking for a solution. It's pretty slick to be fair. https://stripe.com/docs/plugins/magento-2
