Dealer Locator Function, How to Create

Can a novice install a DEALER LOCATOR function on M2?  I tried with YouTube but all I see is M1 directions.  I have my Excel spread of my accounts and I want to allow users to see my vendors by state and/or enter zip and find nearest locations.  Is that a feature currently in M2 that I can't seem to locate or is it an external function?  Any advice would be appreciated.  Thanks!

If you have a team, you can build your own extension. If not, you can buy some extensions:
