Default Value for Text Swatch options

Hello.

I've created a dropdown attribute to use in configurable products. But then, by desing needs, I had to change it to Text Swatch.

After that all options disappeared on frontend. Because new Text Swatch values empty after conversion.

There are a lot of options (about 300).

Is there a way to show store label or admin label for empty swatch options?

i know it''s solved in 2.2 but i can't upgrade just yet
