I hope this doesn't count as self-promotion (I'm just trying to post something that's useful.) I wrote a free open-source module for Magento 2 that allows you to apply a coupon code via the URL instead of having to manually enter it at checkout time. I wrote this for my own store, but I think it would be useful to people in general (I see similar modules go for anywhere from $30 to $100 in the Magento store), and it was simple enough to write that I think it should be free.I tested this on Magento 2.3, but it should (I think) work in 2.2, and maybe even in 2.1 (but don't quote me on that!) Hope someone finds this useful
