Hide VAT on Basket for certain countries

Hi,

Our Store is setup for the UK so on the Basket and Order Summary, 

We have the following:
Cart Subtotal = £213.00

VAT = £ 42.60

Order total = £255.60  Subtotal +VAT

What we need to achieve when someone from the USA or other countries where we only need to show: Subtotal & order Total, with VAT Hidden.
Subtotal as £255.60
VAT [Hidden]
Order Total = £255.60
Can this be done in the Admin using a cart rule or how would I achieve this?

In Magento 2, you have the ability to hide VAT (Value Added Tax) on the basket for certain countries. This can be achieved by configuring tax settings and creating tax rules specific to those countries.

Please follow the steps below to hide VAT on the basket for certain countries in Magento 2:

• Log in to your Magento 2 admin panel.
• Go to "Stores" and click on "Configuration".
• Under the "Sales" section, select "Tax".
• Expand the "Tax Classes" section and configure your tax classes according to your business needs.
• Next, expand the "Tax Calculation" section.
• Set "Tax Calculation Based On" to "Shipping Address" or "Billing Address" depending on your requirements.
• Enable "Cross Border Trade" to allow tax calculation based on the customer's shipping or billing address.
• Expand the "Default Tax Destination Calculation" section and select the country where VAT should be hidden in the "Default Country" field.
• Save the configuration.

Please follow the steps below to create tax rules specific to the countries where VAT should be hidden:

• Go to "Sales" and select "Tax Rules".
• Click on "Add New Tax Rule".
• Give your tax rule a meaningful name and description.
• Set "Customer Tax Class" to the appropriate customer tax class.
• Under "Tax Rule Information", select the country where VAT should be hidden.
• Save the tax rule.

Please repeat these steps for each country where you want to hide VAT in the basket.
