How to direct to a store website using a dropdown menu on magento 2.4

Hi there,

I have config a multi websites and want to using selection menu to lead to different cms home pages. The question is how can i keep the selection value. It comes back to default option value after the page direct to a new home page which makes the current homepage un-matching to the selected option value.
