I am really baffled by these 2 Magento short comings. Everyone says it's standard Magento Practice. I have asked this 20 different ways but get the same non working answers.
On Configurable products, if there is a special price on all the items. It does not show the old Price crossed out but on the Simple products it does. At this point I really don't care if it does or does not show the old price as crossed out but as long as it's consistent for both.
PS. editing the final_price.phtml does nothing in Magento 2.2.6
Secondly. It does not show any price for items with products out of stock. This is crazy, why would it be Magento standard procedure. Again, multiple solutions online and none work. Does anyone actually have a working solution for Magento 2.2.6 to show the price on the category and product page for out of stock items.
