Show special price on configurable producs

Hi when I add a special price (discount price) to, for example, 2 simple products that are part of a configurable product, this special price is only shown on the variants on frontend. But not on the configurable product. You first need to select for example a size before the special price is shown.

Is it possible to show the special price on the upper configurable product?

@Jojobaa Just use the special price for the configurable product.

For this go to magento admin and selects for the configurable product.

After that go to its price option and mention special price there.

Re-index it and then shows the result on frontend.

@rahul Gupta Thanks for the reply, but on the configurable product I can't enter any price or cpecial price. See Screenshot: http://prntscr.com/q8ygdu

So when on frontend is doesnt show the special price, only when I select one of the variants it will show the special price. See screenshot: http://prntscr.com/q8yh6n
