Am I receiving a Bug or Attack?

Shortly after receiving the scan from the Security Tool my hard disk is full and the machine needs to restart. I suddenly gain over 100GB of used space on the machine until the disk is full.

 

  • Magento 2.3
  • Ubuntu 18 ~ LAMP
  • Apache 2.4.29
  • PHP 7.2.13

 

I don't see any DDOS or direct attacks, but it happens around the time as the scan from 52.87.98.44.

 

Anything here ring a bell for someone?

You can check server logs as well as Magento logs to see any possible issue.

Hi @hugh_wood ,

 

Check the Apache logs for that time period. You will find the IP address too there who is making request. So from that you can get an idea that is this due to scan or some one else is trying to hack your website.
