Attribute group shows on edit product pages but not in attribute set

Migrated data over from M1 and I have an attribute group on every product, regardless of which set it's in, called 'Shipping'. I believe this came over from webshopapps productmatrix which isn't installed on M2. Regardless of that I can't remove it as it's not visible. Could it be called from an XML file somewhere? It's not in the database.

Hello @AndySteeple ,

In order to view the newly created attribute in the product edit page in the admin panel, you will require to navigate to

Catalog > Attributes -> Manage Attribute Sets

After this open the appropriate attribute set and assign the attribute by dragging it into the attribute group.

Save the attribute set, reindex and check again.

Make sure that without assigning the attribute to the attribute set, it will not be visible in the product edit form in the admin panel.

I have an attribute group on every product page (editor) called 'Shipping'. It is not allocated or shown in any attribute set.

My question is, if it is not allocated, how else can it be shown there as I need to remove it.
