Auto Bulk Product Delete in Magento 2 happened

Hi, my website is built in Magento 2.  My 1000 products got automatically deleted (on their own). No one has deleted the products from the CMS or either through the code.

Can anyone please tell me how did this happen? Are there any settings that delete the code? How do I check the log for such an issue?

No this shouldn't happen either someone else has deleted without your knowledge. 
Check you catalog_product table if they exist there or not. If not its confirm that some one has deleted accidently or deliberately
