Back End Catalog Search function not working..Can't find products to edit etc... Help please..

Hi

In Admin.  Catalog.  Search at the top in the search bar for a product but it does not work, it just lists everything again.

So I am unable to find a product to edit...

Any ideas anyone?

Hi @JoanneM68

On the admin that TOP search which you are talking about is for Global search for admin,

It is not specifically for products only - if you would like to find the specific product from the backend (Admin panel) - i would suggest you to use the filter options from the product grid !

On the admin -> Go to the -> Catalog -> Products -> over here you will see all the product listed -> Click on the Filter button on the top (Above the products grid headings)  -> Enter the product name in name column or product sku in product sku column -> then click on apply filters button

You will able to see the specific product which you would like to edit - then click on the edit button and you will able to edit that product and click on save button !
