Cannot add a user in Magento v.2.2.1

Hi all,

I really need some help. I upgraded my Magento store initially to v2.2.0 and I could not longer add customers using the admin panel.

Every time I tried, I was presented with the following error:

"Something went wrong while saving the customer."

I thought that upgrading to v2.2.1 might solve the issue, however, the problem still persists. I really have no idea where to start with diagnosing this issue. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Could you try with indexing command and check,

Rum command from magento project root,
php bin/magento indexer:reindex

Hi Rakesh,

I have tried that. Reindexing through CLI completes successfully, however, the problem is not resolved. I still cannot edit or create a customer from the admin panel and am presented with the same error as before.

"Something went wrong while saving the customer."
