Catalog Price rules not working properly

Hi,

I developed some script to assign a specific group id to a user when subscribing.

This to apply a specific catalog price rule for that user.

I noticed these beahaviors:

  •  If I don't use option "request e-mail confirmation" on user registration, user see standard price, but if he add products to cart, the price are recalculated based on catalog price rule. If user logouts and the re-login than he'll see right prices based on catalog price rule.
  • If I use option "request e-mail confirmation" on click on confirmation link user is autologged and immediately see the right price based on catalog price rule.

Any suggestion?

@SoulMan77 If you are not using "request e-mail confirmation" then are you sure the customer group which you want has been specified the customer?

 

Because as far as i understand , your first point is not working fine but your second point is correct.

 

Am i right ?

Right. First point doesn't works well. In cart I see right prices, but in catalog I can see standard prices.

@SoulMan77 it seems the user group is not assigned in first case.

 

Can you please check the user group in first case.

User group assignation is right. 
I think that is a kind of session cache that in point 1 make it not to work properly on catalog.
