I'd like to seek for advice on the following issue. We have a search page but the pagination does not show. Maybe someone have experience this before? Our Product catalogs/listing pagination seems to work. We are using Magento 2.1.4.
This is a sample of our search keyword.

I tried to go to page 2 using URL and it displays the search results too.
https://www.nationalbookstore.com/catalogsearch/result/?p=2&q=gift

Hi @joshua _dadulla,
Did you tried again with Luma (the default theme)?
Maybe you can enable Magento's logs and check if there is some block related error?
I'm here because I'm looking for a solution to the same problem.
Ours started to occur after we updated to 2.1.16.
